New Auburn Youth Athletic Club

An all volunteer, non-profit organization which operates on limited funds acquired through various fund raising activities and events throughout the year to help support New Auburn Youth (Kindergarten - 8th grade) in athletics

Mission:

Providing New Auburn youth with opportunities, equipment and safe environments which enable them to explore new sports, develop basic skills, practice good sportsmanship and boost self-confidence while supporting the long-term success and sustainability of all New Auburn athletic programs

Goals:

·         Provide opportunities for NA Youth to participate in sport camps and activities

·         Build long term successful programs for NA Athletics

·         Improve community awareness in youth athletic programs

·         Provide opportunities for kids to try different sports or find one they can excel at

·         Develop (foster) an environment of team spirit and good sportsmanship in NA Athletics

·         Offer opportunities for parental involvement

·         Develop self-confidence

 

Accomplishments:

 

·         Hosted boys and girls 4/5th grade basketball tournaments, organize coaching and league play

·         Hosted boys and girls summer basketball camp

·         Fundraiser ‘Breakfast in the Park’ during Jamboree Days

·         Fundraiser – Ice Fishing Tournament

·         Co-funded batting cage

·         Organize summer little league

·         Hosted volleyball clinics

·         Concessions during Jr. High athletics

·         Provided transportation to athletic camps / events

·         Provided athletic assistance to multiple athletes
