A Transcript of 2.5 GPA for one semester must be received by May 31st of the
year following your high school graduation in order to receive your

Ab Nicholas Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 4/30/2024 Varies
Requirements:

Eligibility Requirements:
Before you apply for an Ab Nicholas Scholarship check to see that you meet all of the eligibility requirements:

Athletic Requirements:
-- You must be participating in your high school's boys or girls basketball program during this (your senior) year either as a player or a manager.

Financial Requirements:
-- The foundation uses your complete Free Application For Student Aid form (FAFSA) to determine financial need.
-- You may also apply for and receive other financial aid.

Educational Requirements:
-- You must be a senior graduating this year from a Wisconsin high school -- public or private.
-- You must attend a University of Wisconsin System school as a full-time student (at least 12 credits), enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year program.
-- To renew your scholarship, you must maintain performance consistent with the original award criteria, including a cumulative grade point average greater than 2.0.

Other Requirements:
-- You must be a bona fide resident of Wisconsin
-- You will need a unique student ID number for the UW-System school(s) you are applying to.
-- You will need a completed FAFSA form on file for your application to be considered.
-- You will need to file an application online during the enrollment period of February 1 - April 30 of your senior year.

Awards:

Each year up to 60 scholarships will be awarded — $10,000 for a student in a 4-year program and $5,000 for a student in a 2-year program. By maintaining a cumulative grade point average greater than 2.0, scholarships can be renewed annually for the length of the program, for a total award of $40,000 or $10,000, respectively.

The scholarship is open to any Wisconsin high school senior participating in his or her high school basketball program as either a player or manager who plans on applying to a UW Systems school.

Bloomer Masonic Lodge New Auburn Scholarships 5/1/2024 $500
Requirements:

Must be a graduation senior, display a commendable academic record and the potential to successfully continue achievement in a post secondary institution (including technical school). 

The recipient will have demonstrated leadership ability and service as evidenced by the school, community and church or synagogue involvement.

Must include one letter of recommendation from a person such as ateacher, high school counselor, minister, priest, employer or neighbor and 

the completed application form

Vintage Voyagers Car Club New Auburn Scholarships 5/1/2024 500
Requirements:

Our scholarship, up to $500, has only two requirements:
1) Submit a short paragraph on the field you have chosen why you believe you
should receive the scholarship.
2) Submit your high school attendance record with your submission.

Awards:

The recipient of the scholarship is selected by our club members. The winner will be notified by mail or phone. Recipients of the scholarship receive half of the funds at the time of admission to the auto related or graphic design course, with the second half
dispersed at the beginning of the second semester of the year. 
The deadline is May 1st.

Huettner Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 5/1/2024 Varies
Requirements:

These scholarships are available to current high school seniors graduating or residing in the Chippewa County School District.  The scholarship committee makes their selection based on financial need and the ability to do post high school level work.  Recipients may attend the college, technical, vocational school or university of their choice.  Applications are available ONLY by written request.

The Class of 1966 Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 5/1/2024 Varies
Requirements:

The New Auburn Class of 1966 is giving a scholarship baked on the following information:
• Financial need
• Plans for a post-secondary education
• Citizenship
• Academic Achievement
Please write a brief paragraph about each of the above-mentioned topics. Include at the top of your page -- your name and class GPA.

The scholarship will be given after three things are completed:
1. A thank you note to the Class of 1966 Scholarship at the address listed below (this thank
you note should be sent by July 1)
2. Proof of enrollment of classes for second semester
3. Proof of grades with successful completion of first semester

Phillip H. Ehrhard Family Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 5/1/2024 $1000
Requirements:

Background: This scholarship is given in honor of the Phillip H. Ehrhard family. Phillip H. and Clara Gettinger Ehrhard were lifelong residents of New Auburn. Mr. Ehrhard worked for the O&N Lumber Company and was on the New Auburn Board of Education for 32 consecutive years. He served as treasurer for all of those years. For many years, Clara Ehrhard worked at the Farmer Store. Their children, Lorraine (31), Chuck (36), Philip “Tick” (40) and Wayne (44) graduated from New Auburn High School as did their daughters-in-law, Tick’s wife, Martha (40) and Chuck’s wife, Jean (41). Four of their grandchildren – Donna (61) and Christine (65) Enrhard and William (62) and Jean (64) Ehrhard also graduated from New Auburn High School. In addition, two of their great-grandchildren – Robin (85) and Jay (89) Olds, are graduates of New Auburn High School.

Scholarship Established in 1999 By: Daughters of Philip “Tick” and Martha Ehrhard – Dr. Donna Ehrhard Thomas and Christine Ehrhard Severson Housner

Type of Scholarship: This scholarship will be offered on an annual basis until such time as funds provided by the family are depleted. If should be noted that if at any time New Auburn High School ceases to exist, all funds remaining in the Phillip H. Ehrhard Family Scholarships account should revert to Donna Ehrhard Thomas and Christine Enrhard Severson or their heirs.

Scholarship Criteria: To qualify for the Phillip H. Ehrhard Family Scholarship, applicants must:
1. be a graduating senior in good standing of New Auburn High School and have been enrolled at the school for at least three years. 
2. have a grandparent, parent, aunt or uncle who graduated from New Auburn High School
3. have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0
4. be officially accepted to attend a two or four year private/public university/college or technical school
5. complete a school provided application form and a short-written statement outlining what they have gained from attending New Auburn High School academically and personally, and how these experiences have helped in determining career goals. 

Scholarship Recipient Selection: The selection of the Phillip H. Ehrhard Family Scholarship recipient shall be made by a school determined selection committee, plus one Ehrhard family member, designated by Donna Ehrhard Thomas and/or Christine Ehrhard Severson or their heirs. At such time as no family members remain or none desires involvement, selection will be done solely by the school determined committee.

Requirements:

This scholarship is available to anyone going into the working world. Up to 2-$500 scholarships may be awarded. Deadline is May 2nd.

Synergy Cooperative Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 5/3/2024 $500
Requirements:

Synergy Cooperative will be awarding a scholarship to a graduating senior going into an agricultural and/or food industry program.

Please attach the following to this application:

  • A list of your high school, community and service involvement. Please include leadership positions held. 

  • An essay to explain the following three questions. 

  1. Why did you select your post-secondary major or program of study?

Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 5/24/2024 Varies
Requirements:

The Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company and Scott Construction, Inc. will be warding $7,000 in scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2024 from either a public or private high school in Wisconsin that plan to enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or a university in 2024.  The winners are determined by independent  judging of an essay contest.  The essay should address the topic: "What strategies can be implemented by town officials in collaboration with citizens to maintain civility in local government?" The enclosed brochure provides additional necessary details.  Students do not need to be residents of towns.  Essay must be postmarked by May 24, 2024

Rutledge Charities/Casper Foundation Scholarship New Auburn Scholarships 6/1/2024 Varies
Requirements:

 For Chippewa County high school graduates or current Chippewa County Residents

Along with the completed application, you must also submit the following in order to be considered:

1. A complete transcript of your high school grades (including first semester of senior year) and college grades if applicable. 

2. A copy of your FAFSA report. If parents income is not included in the report, we will be contacting you for this information.
