Library Media Center
Welcome! Our school has two library media centers, one that serves our PreK–6 students and the other, our 7-12 students. The library program provides instruction to students in information/technology literacy, supports the district curriculum through the selection of resources and working with classroom teachers, and promotes an overall love of reading.
Our 7-12 library has a flexible schedule. Teachers can set up a time to visit the library with their entire class, or students can visit on an individual basis to check out materials, use a computer, or work on homework in a quiet setting. This library is open from 8 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. each day.
There are no limits on the number of books students in grades 7-12 can check out. However, books must be returned or renewed within two weeks. Overdue materials will be assessed a fee of $.05 per day/per item.
The PreK-6 library is on a fixed schedule and is open each day from 1:00–3:15. Students in PreK-2 generally check out two books each week. Students in Grades 3-6 can check out three books each week. There are no late fees in the elementary library.
