Mrs. Weinert - School Counselor
Phone: 715-237-2505 ext 1+532
Hello~ I am Ashley Weinert the PK-12 Counselor for the New Auburn School District. I've been at New Auburn Schools since 2021.
I grew up in Minnesota and Colorado before moving to Wisconsin in high school and graduating from Barron High School. I then went on to earn my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I did two years of AmeriCorps service working in the school counseling office at Barron High School. I then was a middle school counselor in the Eau Claire District, before working as a prevention specialist for the Barron County Department of Health and Human Services for 5 years before coming here.
My husband, Dustin, also works at New Auburn. He teaches Business Education. We both enjoy spending time with our six kids when our schedules allow. In my spare time, I enjoy sending care packages to military kids with a deployed parent; as we are a military family supporting my husband's service in the Army National Guard.
Please contact me if you have any questions.

In Memory of Mrs. Gullen
Judy was a remarkable colleague who truly wore many hats. No matter what challenge arose, she stepped in with grace, skill, and an unwavering willingness to help. Whether she was coordinating projects, supporting her team, solving problems behind the scenes, or simply offering a kind word at the right moment, she brought dedication and heart to everything she did. She had a unique ability to make those around her feel supported and valued. Her presence brought warmth, her work brought stability, and her spirit brought energy to even the busiest days. She balanced countless responsibilities without ever losing her sense of humor or her genuine care for others. Her sudden passing has left us heartbroken, but her impact will continue to be felt in the work she touched and the many lives she influenced. She will be deeply missed, remembered not only for all the roles she carried, but for the kindness, generosity, and strength she carried within them.
